Rainy days and red lines… ⠀
Both tend to conjure negative emotions.
The rain… dense, gray clouds darken the day and the sky sobs heavy tears.
The red lines… slicing into the prose poured from your soul leaving bloody gashes… scars of your grammatical errors and poor word choices.
The bright side (should you choose to see it) is there is goodness here.
The rain, like a good hard cry, is cleansing, healing, and good nap weather.
The red lines are improvements, enhancements, and a fresh perspective.
These are not rose-colored glasses I peer through. I see everything very clearly.
I choose to be grateful for every aspect of it.⠀
